One process. Multiple paths.

The BPMN example shows how human work steps, decisions and automatic actions work together. All data and records for this run belong to the sample synthetic data set.

How to explore the process.

  1. Start process and enter informationThe active node is highlighted. Complete the capture and go to the completeness check.
  2. Decide on completeness“Complete” leads to technical approval. “Information is missing” leads to an addition and then another check.
  3. Share or ask a queryAfter the technical examination, you choose the next path. A query is processed during the process and leads back to the addition.
  4. Watch the automatic actionAfter release, the process switches to system action. Without re-entering the animal identification, a documentation record and a follow-up task are created.
  5. Track records and historyThe record area shows the two results. In the event log you can see the sequence of processing, decisions and automatic actions.
  6. Try another wayRestart resets the sample record and its markers. Then try out another decision-making path.

Read the illustration.

Highlighted nodes show the active step. Marked connections show the paths already taken. The “Automatic records” area and the event log make the results visible.

On small screens, the diagram can be moved sideways; When changing, the section follows the active step. The buttons can also be operated with the keyboard.

From example to your workflow.

FWM connects process descriptions with tasks, roles and connected specialist actions. Which information is adopted and which decisions require confirmation is configured for the respective process.
